PRP for Skin(Vampire Skin Treatment)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is the newest technique to improve the texture of the skin. This procedure can also be used to improve the appearance of dark circles under the eyes which is an area that has been difficult to treat with existing fillers.

Process
  • Using your own blood eliminates risk of hypersensitivity or any allergic reactions.
  • Takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Platelets also contain substances called “Growth Factors” that activate and rejuvenate cells in our body.
Benefits of Procedures
  • Simple, non surgical procedure.
  • Safe and reliable results.
  • Very quick recovery period.
  • Extremely natural looking end results.
Advantages of PRP for Skin Rejuvenation

The potential benefits of PRP have led to a recent widespread interest in its use for anti-aging and regenerative purposes. The healing properties of the blood components in PRP can be used as a cosmetic treatment for the following:

  • Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
  • Tightening and toning skin
  • Mild collagen and volume loss
  • Crow's feet and dark under eye circles
  • Acne scarring
  • Rosacea

Within a few weeks of treatment, an overall improvement in skin hydration, texture and tone can be seen. New collagen and blood vessels begin to grow after three to six weeks, and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and volume correction happens over the next three to six months. The effects of PRP can last for upto one year. For women looking for an immediate effect, Cosmetic PRP can be combined with hyaluronic acid fillers for quick volume correction

Our Technique
We use temperature controlled centrifuge to prevent the loss of growth factors inside the platelet  during centrifuge as according to Blood Vol 32,No.2 (August), 1998 “cooling centrifuge saves platelets from the effect of heat generated during centrifugation”.

We use FDA approved disposable Dr.PRP KIT which is a medical device exclusively designed for autologous PRP separation. Highly concentrated platelets by the Dr.PRP kit release large amounts of growth factors which are normally inside the platelets.
